Data Literacy Educator - Data Driven Leader

About the role

We’re looking for a freelance Educator with strong levels of data expertise and executive business experience to join our pool and deliver live, online classes as part of our Data Driven Leader course. You’ll help enterprise executives across industries understand how to interpret, question and leverage data to make strategic decisions. You’ll bring your own leadership experience into the classroom, helping learners connect data literacy to real-world commercial challenges. In addition to Data Driven Leader, you may also teach sessions as part of our Data for Business and Data for Business Pro programmes, focused on topics like asking better business questions, visualising insights and leading data-informed change. 

Hours

~10 teaching hours/month (plus paid prep)

You’ll be responsible for

• Delivering 1 hour classes (and occasional 1–3 hour virtual workshops) to professional and executive learners
• Bringing energy, clarity and practical application to structured curriculum content
• Sharing insights from your leadership and commercial experience to make data literacy real-world relevant at the strategic level
• Liaising with our Education Delivery Manager and Facilitators ahead of each session
• Participating in our light-touch onboarding and QA process

You’d be a great fit if you…

• Have held leadership roles and understand the realities of executive decision-making
• Possess strong data literacy skills - able to interpret, question and apply data in strategic contexts
• Can communicate complex data concepts in a clear, compelling way to senior, often non-technical, audiences
• Have strong teaching skills and comfort with online platforms esp.MS Teams
