Jordan Morrow has partnered with Data & AI Literacy Academy in a new capacity, as both advisor and educator. With the speed of AI changing so rapidly, he will become a contributing voice to how we empower data leaders and their organisations to enable successful data & AI transformations at scale. His enterprise expertise and leading position in the development of the field of data literacy, make him a natural fit to contribute more widely to our collective mission.

About Jordan Morrow

People in data circles often call Jordan the "Godfather of Data Literacy." He built one of the world's first data literacy programmes at a time when the term didn't show up in job titles or budgets yet, and he has spent the years since helping organisations work out what literacy looks like in practice on the global stage.

He is the founder and CEO of Bodhi Data, where he applies data and AI to total talent management. He has been named one of the Top 200 Futurists in the World, listed as DataIQ's 100 Most Influential People in Data and has also written five books including Be Data Literate, Be Data Driven and Be Data Analytical. He is based near Salt Lake City, Utah, and regularly speaks at conferences around the world.

Jordan Morrow's impact at Data & AI Literacy Academy

Jordan will be a key ally in supporting Data & AI Literacy Academy's strategic direction. In his words, that means looking at "what organisations actually need (versus what's trendy), and how to build programmes that hold up under real business pressure."

Because all of our clients are large organisations where literacy programmes have to succeed to survive budget reviews and ROI scrutiny, it’s essential for them to get the highest level of expertise to achieve this. Jordan has seen enough programmes succeed and fail so his advice comes from valuable first-hand experience.

Because of his leadership understanding, he will also help deliver our Leadership education curriculum. Flagship learning tracks include Data for Business Leaders and AI for Business Leaders. Because we select for educators who have “been there, done that” he will easily be able to help leaders navigate the broad array of challenges coming their way in the next few years.

Responsible AI strategy and adoption are top priorities for most enterprise teams, but we consistently hear how leaders are still grappling with how to truly make AI work for their teams.
